Switching? Read the small print first.
You're a consultant — you read contracts. So rather than slogans, here is exactly how Vuemedics's terms differ from the standard terms we've seen across established review platforms. Check any platform's provider terms against this table before you sign.
| The clause that matters | Common incumbent terms | Vuemedics |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum term | 12-month initial term is typical, auto-renewing in further 12-month periods | Monthly rolling — or free, forever |
| Cancelling | Up to 3 months' written notice before the term ends is a common requirement; no self-serve cancellation | Two clicks in Settings, any time |
| Your reviews if you stop paying | Reviews are commonly unpublished and archived when a subscription ends | Stay published, free, forever |
| Who owns the reviews | Some terms assign all rights in your reviews to the platform | Patients write them; you can always export them; we never use them against you |
| Pricing | Often quote-only, via a sales call | Published in full, from £0 |
| Ranking | Paid placement or featured tiers are common across directories | Never affected by payment — guaranteed in our Trust Charter |
| Price rises | Unilateral rises on notice mid-relationship | You're never locked in long enough for it to matter |
"Common incumbent terms" reflects our reading of publicly available provider terms and published clinician feedback across established UK platforms at the time of writing. It describes patterns, not any single named company — always verify the current terms of any platform you use.
You don't arrive empty-handed
Your existing reputation comes with you. Add your ratings from other platforms — Google, or anywhere patients already review you — to your Vuemedics profile as a linked, self-reported strip, visible from day one while your verified Vuemedics reviews build underneath it.
Set it up in Edit profile → Credentials → Ratings elsewhere.
And leaving is just as easy
If Vuemedics ever stops earning its keep, downgrade to Free — your profile and every published review stay live — or export everything (CSV/JSON) and close your account from Settings. No phone call, no notice period, no hostage reviews.
We think a platform you can leave easily is one you'll want to stay on.
